A small update in the form of Erkenbrand. Lord of the Rings - the Strategy Battle Game has been overlooked in my gaming group for quite a while. Now with the small rules update before the Hobbit movie it has been revived. Yay! :)
Here's some more of what I've been working on - model wise. :) There will be at least one other update with the pictures I have. Yay.
Also: I have finally painted my mounted Gandalf the White model for Lord of the Rings. I'm quite pleased by it, but the greenstuffing I did on his sword arm, where the cloak is attached to the torso, turned out to be rather badly done. I realized it only after a few layers of paint, which is far too late. But those pictures will come later.
Today is fastlagstisdag, the Tuesday commencing this years fasting. The traditional noms in Scandinavia (or is it just Finland and Sweden) is the Fastlagsbulle: A sweet bun filled with cream and almond paste, or jelly if you prefer it that way. Allegedly the Swedish king Adolf Frederick died of indigestion 1771 after eating a good sized meal followed by 14 helpings of his favourite: the Fastlagsbulle served in warm milk. Serious stuff.
